Michael Robert Thomas Allen I


LOGANSPORT — Michael Robert Thomas Allen I, 41, Logansport, passed away Saturday, May 4, 2013, in St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis.

He was born Oct. 10, 1971, in Watseka, Ill., to Mike L. and Teresa (Church) Allen.

Michael was an exhaust and Corvette parts salesman. He also spent time working at the U.S. 24 Speedway as the announcer.

He attended Logansport High School. Michael was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, the Jaycees, and Eagles Lodge 323. He enjoyed being involved in NASCAR racing, working with the No. 4 Kodak Car.

Surviving along with his parents is one daughter, Shelby M. Allen, Fulton; brother, Tony D. Allen and fiancé Mandy, Logansport; nephew, Ashton Allen; and nieces, Lexi and Parker Allen.

A funeral service will be 4 p.m. Saturday in the Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Larry DeVos officiating.

Visitation will be from noon until the time of service Saturday.

Memorials will be made to Michael’s daughter, Shelby.
