Lillian V. Morris, 87, Logansport passed away at 5:45 a.m. Saturday, April 20, 2013, at The Arbor in Logansport.
Born Dec. 29, 1925, in Ft. Scott, Kan. she was the daughter of the late George O. and Elizabeth “Lizzie” (Kelly) Yarnell.
On Jan. 15, 1947, she married Harry L. Tucker. He preceded her in death Jan. 12, 1970. On May 24, 1976, she married Chester K. Morris and he preceded her in death in 1994.
She was formerly employed at the Logansport State Hospital, Mary’s Grill, Ben Hur Restaurant and the Pharos-Tribune. Lillian also formerly owned and operated Lil’s Seeds and Songs. Lillian was also a member of REACT.
Lillian loved to watch “The Golden Girls”, doing puzzles, people watching and birds.
Survivors include her children, Lawrence E. Tucker (Kathryn), Logansport, Roxie Polly (Robert), Monticello and Donna Robison, Logansport, brothers; Charles Yarnell (Mary) and Bobby Yarnell, all of Knoxville, Tenn. and sister, Jane Scates, Knoxville, Tenn., 11 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren. She is survived by several step children, step-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She is also preceded in death by daughter, Mary Ann Field, three brothers, three sisters, grandchildren, Matthew Tucker, Joseph E. Robison and Elizabeth Gunter, and great granddaughter, Kaylee Conklin.
Services will be at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday at Marocco-Rans Funeral Chapel with Pastor Steve Rance officiating. Burial will be at Clymers Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the time of the service Wednesday at the funeral home.
