Dale T. Bagwell, 82, Mooresville, died Thursday, July 25, 2013, in St. Francis Hospital, Indianapolis.

He was born April 20, 1931, in Cass County, to the late Athel and Lelia (Vernon) Bagwell.

He graduated from Royal Center High School and served in the Indiana National Guard. He enjoyed a 30-year career as a construction supervisor and carpenter for DeJager Construction Company of Grand Rapids, Mich. He was a devoted member of Mooresville Church of God, where he enjoyed being active in mission work. He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed camping, traveling, and spending time with his loving family.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Thora Goodrich.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Phyllis (King) Bagwell; children, Arthur Wood, Arlana Wood, Max Wood, Krystal Simmons, and Stephen Bagwell; daughters, Cindy, Lydia, and Rachel Bagwell; sisters, Cletha A. Elliott, Logansport, and Jane Kennell, Royal Center; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.

The funeral service was held July 29 in the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville. Burial was in Fairfield Cemetery, Camby.
