Larry L. Sellers, 71, Camp Verde, Ariz., formerly of Logansport, passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2013, in Cottonwood, Ariz., at Verde Valley Medical Center after battling heart and kidney disease.

Born April 18, 1942, he was the son of late Alma M. (Zimmerman) and William E. Sellers. He graduated from New Waverly High School in 1958. Served 20 years in the U.S. Navy, receiving the National Defense Service Medal, Meritorious Unit Commendation, Presidential Unit Citation, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, Vietnam Service Medal and Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal.

Survivors include his wife, Janet Bridge Hardin Sellers; sons Larry L. Sellers Jr., Denver Colo., and Scott A Sellers (Leann), Logansport; daughter, Renee Zavalydriga (Barry), Michigan City; step-son, Tony Hardin (Dustie), Carmel; step-daughters, Heidi Schaffer, Brownsburg, and Heather Moehl (Tim), Indianapolis; brothers, Steve Sellers (Sherry), Elkhart, Chad Sellers (Rita), Logansport; 10 grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by father, mother; two daughters, Debra and Kathryn; two brothers, Bill and David; and first wife, Darlis Jean Langdon.

He was cremated in Arizona. Memorial service set for a later date.
