ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Donald “Don” Kain, 78, St. Petersburg, Fla., passed away Monday, June 24, 2013.
He was born in Logansport on May 2, 1935, to Anthony W. Kain and Elizabeth H. (Krempetz) Kain.
He married Margaret Seltzer on June 24, 1980. Margaret passed away in 1993.
Surviving are his brothers, Richard (Ann) Kain, Lexington, S.C.; and sisters, Mary Jane LaRocque of Green Acres, Fla., Delores Schultz, Star City, Kathleen (Joe) Bozzuto, Vandalia, Mich.; and many nieces and nephews.
Proceeding him in death were his parents, wife and sibling, Patricia (Kain) Hemmingsen.
Don graduated from Winamac High School in 1954 and attended Butler University for two years. He worked as a draftsman at Rockwell Standard in Logansport. He made his home in St Petersburg Fla., after moving from Logansport.
He proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1954 to 1956, stationed in Germany.
A private burial service will be held at a later date.
