---- — Ronald Lee Booher, 49, Logansport, passed away at 5:05 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2013, in Parkview Hospital North, Fort Wayne.

Born Feb. 24, 1964, in Karlsruhe, Germany, he was the son of Joseph and Marie Hanselmann Booher.

Ron was a 1983 graduate of Logansport High School. He had served in the U. S. Navy.

Ron was an electrician at Chrysler Corporation, Kokomo. Previously he had been employed at Modine Manufacturing Company. He enjoyed riding his Harley, collecting bottles and Logansport memorabilia and was a huge Notre Dame sports fan.

Surviving are his wife, Kathy (Long) Booher, Logansport, formerly of Elkhart; his father, Joseph (Marcelle) Booher, Elkhart; daughters, Kristen Nicole Booher, Indianapolis, and Taylor Lindsey Booher, Westfield, step-sons, Timothy Thacker and Jonathan Thacker, both of Elkhart.

Ron was preceded in death by his mother, Marie Booher, and a step-son, Kenneth J. Thacker.

The funeral service will be at 4 p.m. on Thursday at Kroeger Funeral Home. Dr. Bob Cosby will officiate. Interment with full military honors will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 3 to 4 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
