Linda Baker, 70, Winamac, died at 3:41 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012, at St. Vincent Seton Specialty Hospital, Indianapolis.
Born Jan. 21, 1942, in Warren, Ohio, she was the daughter of Frank and Ilene Smallwood Barber. Linda was married Nov. 9, 1963, in Marianna, Pa., to Lloyd R. Baker. He passed away on March 18, 2007.
Linda enjoyed having her friends visit over coffee. She enjoyed playing Bunco and was a member of two Bunco Clubs.
Linda was the owner of Tippecanoe Mobile Home Park, Winamac, and had worked in retail stores in Winamac.
She dearly loved her grandchildren with all her heart and enjoyed every moment with them, and she enjoyed the company of her canine companion, Cee-Cee.
Surviving are daughter, Heather L. (Eric) Hulmes, Winamac; son, Wade A. Baker, Lucerne; grandchildren, Shane Hulmes, Tanner Hulmes, Luke Baker, Alexis J. Baker, Sophia Baker, and Izabella Baker; sisters, Deanna Foreman, New Waterford, Ohio, and Judi (Frank) Bellino, Youngstown, Ohio; sister-in-law, Joanne Markoff, Marianna, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lloyd R. Baker; son, Robin D. Baker; and brothers-in-law, William Foreman and Harley “Red” Watson.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Frain Mortuary with the Rev. Edward Clark officiating. Burial will be in McKinley Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Winamac.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Frain Mortuary.
