Madonna Ann Peterson, 73, Logansport passed away at 9 a.m. Sunday, March 3, 2013, at Chase Center, Logansport.
Born Oct. 6, 1939, in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of the late Charles F. and Kathryn (Comerford) Cain. Madonna was a 1957 Logansport High School graduate.
She retired from General Tire in Logansport in 2004, after 41 years. She had also worked for several area restaurants including Captain Logan’s Hotel, Zoubel’s and Guido’s Italian Restaurant.
Madonna was a member of All Saints Catholic Church, All Saints Ladies Society, Red Hats and the UAW. She enjoyed collecting and restoring antiques, collecting buttons and going to auctions. Madonna was also very crafty and enjoyed making jewelry and flower arrangements.
Survivors include her children, Robert R. Peterson, Peru, and Natasha Ann Wiegand (Leroy), Plymouth, brother, Pat Cain (Debi), Loveland, Ohio, and sister, Judi Wise, North Manchester. She is also survived by grandchildren, Logan and Lauren Wiegand, both of Plymouth.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at All Saints Catholic Church with Father Michael McKinney officiating. Burial will be at St. Charles Catholic Cemetery, Peru, at a later date.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Marocco-Rans Funeral Chapel and Cremation Service, Logansport.
