Brian Todd Wright, 42, Logansport, passed away at 6:32 p.m. Sunday, June 1, 2014, in Indiana University Health Hospital, in Indianapolis. Since November, he had fought a courageous battle with bile duct and liver cancer.
Born June 1, 1972, in Kokomo, he was the son of James Leroy Wright and Jennie Marie Wright. He was married Nov. 9, 2006, to Deanna Kay Wright, who survives.
He was a fork lift operator for VanGuard, Monon.
Brian was an outdoor kind-of-a-guy, enjoying the pleasures of boating, fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed photography. Brian was a good dad and enjoyed spending time with his kids.
Surviving with his wife are his mother, Jennie Wright, of Delphi; his father, James Leroy Wright (Paula Meyers) of Kokomo; son, Tristan Wright of Monticello; step-children, Cameron Costello of Logansport, Jessica Vandervort and Hunter Flores, both of Monticello; his siblings, Mark (Christina) Wright of Bloomington, Angi Turnpaugh (John Federspill) of Delphi, James Wright of Logansport, and Don (Sheila) Wright of Monticello; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be 1 p.m. Friday at Fisher Funeral Chapel, with Dawn Fisher officiating. Interment will follow in Riverview I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Monticello.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral chapel.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society’s White County Relay for Life Team “Fighting Cancer the Wright Way.”
