Evadeen L. St. Clair, 93, Logansport, passed away at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 21, 2014, at McKinney House, Logansport.
She was born Feb. 28, 1921, in Twelve Mile, to Vernon E. and Beulah M. (Willis) Ball. She married Levon Alford St. Clair Nov. 24, 1942, in Twelve Mile, and he preceded her in death April 11, 1990.
Evadeen worked for H.W. Gossard’s, Logansport, and Toppo, Rochester. She retired from Delco Electronics, Kokomo, in 1986. She graduated from Twelve Mile High School in 1939 and attended First Church of Christ, Peru. She enjoyed yard work and her grandkids.
Surviving are her two sons, Maury and wife Gerrie St. Clair of Kokomo and Gary D. St.Clair of Logansport; grandchildren, David W. St. Clair, Kellee Wolfe, Bill St. Clair, Ericka M. Buck and Amy Beck; 13 great-grandchildren also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one daughter, one brother and three sisters.
A celebration of Evedeen’s life was Saturday at Murray Weaver Funeral Home, Galveston, with the Rev. Joel Surface officiating. Burial followed in Walton IOOF Cemetery.
Murray Weaver Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
