KOKOMO — Brian G. Artrip, 42, Kokomo and Lebanon, passed away unexpectedly early Wednesday, April 16, 2014, at his home in Lebanon.
He was born May 30, 1971, in Logansport. He was adopted by Larry E. and Shirley A. (Nolte) Artrip.
Brian was attending Ivy Tech Community College. He would have graduated this spring with a degree in computers. He was an Army veteran and member of V.F.W. Post 1152 in Kokomo. He enjoyed playing pool, motorcycles and guitar.
Surviving are his daughter, Cassie Artrip, and twin sons, Joshua and Andrew Artrip, all of Kokomo; sister, Lynne (Keith) Barnes, Delphi; brothers, Larry “Gene” Artrip Jr., Philippines, and Christopher Artrip, Naples, Fla.; half brother Jason Frye, his significant other, Niki Hawkins, and her children, Payton, Korri and Tristan Hawkins, Lebanon; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Larry E. and Shirley Artrip; and his biological mother, Sue Davidson.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Murray Weaver Funeral Home in Galveston, with the Rev. Bill Collins officiating.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
