---- — Elizabeth A. Roe, 80, Logansport, formerly of Kokomo, passed away at 1 a.m. Tuesday, June 25, 2013, at her residence.

Born Nov. 12, 1932, in Pembine, Wis., she was the daughter of John C. and Margaret M. Weaver Wagner.

Mrs. Roe had been employed as a bookkeeper at Maher’s Men’s Store in downtown Kokomo. She had also been employed at the Carl Ann Dress Shop in Kokomo and Palumbo Distributing Company in Logansport.

A 1951 graduate of St. Joseph Academy in Tipton, she was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Kokomo. She enjoyed playing golf, bowling, cards, bingo, crocheting and cooking, but especially taking care of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Surviving are a daughter, Kathy Ehler of Logansport; two sisters, Frances Reel of Kokomo and Mary Beechy of Logansport; two grandchildren, Andrea Corso and Emily Gordon (Ben Pherson); and seven great-grandchildren, Anna Corso, Elizabeth Corso, Jacob Corso, Lilly Pherson, Neva Pherson, Violet Pherson and Rosemary Pherson.

Preceding her in death were a daughter, Kay Lynn Roe; brother, Russell Wagner; sister, Dorothy Groves; brothers-in-law, Lloyd Groves Sr., Charles Reel and Robert Beechy.

Please break bread and celebrate the life of Mom with us from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Casabella Banquet Room, Pastarrific Restaurant, 3001 S. Webster St., Kokomo.
