Larry D. Crockett


— Larry D. Crockett, 70, Logansport, passed away at 6:35 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, 2013, at Seton Specialty Hospital, Lafayette.

Born Sept. 11, 1942, in Logansport, he was the son of the late Harvey and Mary Gladys (Humphrey) Crockett. On Sept. 20, 1963, he married his high school sweetheart, Carol Boyd, she survives.

He was a 1961 Logansport High School graduate.

Larry was a retired Tool and Die Engineer. He was formerly employed at Small Parts and Humphrey Tool. He also formerly owned and operated Acorn Enterprises. Larry enjoyed woodworking, carpentry and working around the home.

Survivors include his wife, Carol, Logansport, son, Kevin Crockett, Eugene, Ore., sister, Patty Bowman, Logansport, brother-in-law, Robert Boyd (Vickie), Kokomo; beloved granddaughter, Karah Crockett, Logansport and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by five brothers and one sister.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Marocco-Rans Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at Ever-Rest Memorial Park.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
