Tom “Roar” Rorison, 74, Logansport, passed away at 3 p.m. Saturday, July 20, 2013, at his residence.

He was born Sept. 19, 1938, in Battle Creek, Mich.

Roar was formerly employed at Hendricks Office Supply, Barton’s and Nelson Tube.

He was a member of the Logansport Elks and Logansport Moose. Roar was an avid Michigan State Spartan fan and he enjoyed golfing, classic cars and spending time with his friends.

Survivors include his daughter, Terri (Rorison) Cox of Logansport; sister, Sally Koons of Battle Creek, Mich.; cousin, Patrick Gaudard (Marge) of Suttons Bay, Mich.; granddaughter, Lindsey Lewis (Matt) of Logansport; great-grandchildren, Alexis Brooks and Taylor Lewis both of Logansport; and special family friends, Kathy Shedron and her grandson, Dylan Shedron of Logansport. He is also survived by nieces, Karie, Kris and Kellie and nephew, Kipp all of Battle Creek, Mich.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Helen Nina Rorison Campbell, and son, Michael “Ror” Rorison.

A celebration of life service will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at Marocco-Rans Funeral Chapel & Cremation Service with a cremation service and visitation from 4 p.m. until the time of the celebration of life service.
