ROCHESTER — Lucille Burton, 95, Rochester, passed away at 7:30 p.m. Monday, June 30, 2014, at Hickory Creek, Rochester.
She was born on Jan. 26, 1919, in Kewanna, the daughter of Jesse and Maggie (Rans) Zuck. On Nov. 21, 1943, in Kewanna, she married Lincoln Burton. He preceded her in death on April 5, 1981.
Mrs. Burton had been a homemaker and had attended Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church and Fulton United Methodist Church. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening and sewing.
Survivors include her daughter, Luella and husband John Hill, both of Santa Fe, N.M.; son, Wendell and wife Beth Burton, Rochester; grandchildren, Stephanie Nardi, Minnesota, Lance and wife Belinda Burton, Auburn, Scott and wife Jeanne Burton, Lafayette, and Kent Burton, Rochester; great-grandchildren, Reid, Marie, Allison, David, Danielle, Carl, Nicholas, Robbie and Emma; sister, Irene Wynn, Dearborn, Mich.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son, Robert Burton; brother, Cloyd Zuck; and her parents.
Funeral services will be at noon Saturday at Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Fulton. Burial will be in Kewanna I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Kewanna.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at the funeral home.
