DEER CREEK — Kathrynn R. Caldwell, 81, Deer Creek, passed away at 11:40 a.m. Friday, June 27, 2014, at St. Elizabeth Healthcare Center in Delphi. She was born March 19, 1933, in Howard County to Howard and Vivia Cleo Featherstone. She married Bobby D. Caldwell Feb. 27, 1955, and he survives.
Kathrynn was a homemaker and farm wife. She worked in the town of Burrows as a waitress for a time and also as a secretary at Stellite in Kokomo. She and her husband Bobby attended Deer Creek Presbyterian Church in Deer Creek. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and gardening.
Surviving family include her husband, Bobby Caldwell, Delphi; son, David B. Caldwell, Dewitt, Mich.; daughters, Kathy Elery, Lebanon, and Patricia K. Cunningham, Delphi; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Juanita Moss, St. Augustine, Fla. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and three sisters.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Murray Weaver Funeral Home in Galveston. Burial will follow at Albright Cemetery in Kokomo.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
