William E. Minglin, 78, Logansport, passed away at 4:10 a.m. Saturday, April 13, 2013, in Logansport.
Born March 6, 1935, in Logansport, he was the son of Ralph and Misha Moore Minglin.
He was married Sept. 14, 1957, in Logansport to Delores A. “Dee” Cotner, who preceded him in death Dec. 26, 2012.
Bill retired in 2000 from Chrysler Corporation in Kokomo.
A 1953 graduate of Logansport High School, he served in the U.S. Army as a paratrooper.
Surviving are sons, William L. (Angie) Minglin of Logansport, Mark Minglin of Logansport and Lance (Michelle) Minglin of Brownsburg; daughter, Kim Costello of Logansport; brother, Robert (Coleen) Minglin of Lafayette; and sisters-in-law, Beverly Hayden and Janet (Nolan) Hunt, both of Logansport.
Also surviving are grandchildren, Broc (Wendy) Rennewanz, Brandi Rennewanz, Brandon Minglin, Kristen Minglin, Brooke Minglin and Jenna Minglin; step-grandchildren, Bill (Tracy) Michael, Dane Costello and Kimberli Costello; great-grandchildren, Kayden Rennewanz, Halle Rennewanz and Reese Rennewanz; step-great-grandchildren, Heather Showley, Brandi Green, Braxton Michael, Connor Costello and Cale Costello; and several nieces and nephews.
One grandson, Kylan Costello; sisters, Betty Hughes and Lena Ridenhour; and brother, Ralph Vernon Minglin, preceded him in death.
The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Kroeger Funeral Home with Pastor Bill Collins officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
