Kenneth M. ‘Kenny’ Foerg
PULASKI — Kenneth M. “Kenny” Foerg, 81, Pulaski, passed away at 10:18 p.m. Tuesday, July 16, 2013, at the Pulaski Health Care Center, Winamac.
Kenny was born Dec. 8, 1931, in Pulaski to the late Peter M. and Rosella Scheffer Foerg.
Kenny graduated from Pulaski High School. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. After returning home from the war, he lived with his parents and farmed on the family homestead.
Kenny was a devoted member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pulaski. After moving to the Health Care Center, he continued to practice his faith by participating in the rosary, receiving communion, and listening to spiritual music.
Kenny will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him. Survivors include: Michael Foerg, nephew; Patricia Keller, niece; Joseph Foerg, nephew; Richard “Rick” Foerg, nephew; Elaine K. Holmes-Cobane, niece; Ruth A. Fox-Dietrich, niece; Catherine L. Reifert, niece; John E. Fox, nephew; Thomas P. Fox, nephew; and Rebecca J. Cohrs, niece.
He was preceded in death by Peter M. Foerg, father; Rosella Scheffer Foerg, mother; Richard J. “Bosco” Foerg, brother; Mary Ellen Fox, sister; Robert Fox, nephew; Jeffrey Fox, nephew; Ronald Foerg, nephew.
A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. (EDT) Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Pulaski, with the Rev. Bert Woolson officiating. Burial will take place in the St. Joseph Cemetery South, Pulaski.
Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Frain Mortuary, Winamac.
