MONTICELLO — Gloria J. Cosgray, 87, Monticello, died Thursday, June 20, 2013.

She was born Jan. 7, 1926, in Monticello. On Feb. 14, 1946, she married Ralph Cosgray. He died Aug. 29, 1999. Gloria had lived on the family farm since 1946, moving to Monticello in 2003. She was a 1944 graduate of the Monticello High School, Monticello. Gloria had worked at the old RCA factory from 1974 until it shut its doors in 1981. She also worked at the Riverside Restaurant and the B & K Root-Beer Stand, both of Monticello, for several years.

Survivors include daughters, Kelly S. (Butch) Young, Jane M. Cosgray and Edith L. (Larry) Johns; sons, Michael D. (Deb) Cosgray, Garry L. (Paula) Cosgray and Peter G. Cosgray; 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; brother, James F. Moore Jr.; and sisters, Dorothy J. Snowberger and Neoma “Mo” (Harold) Hintzman.

A celebration of life service will be at 3 p.m. today at Miller-Roscka Funeral Home, Monticello, with the Rev. Jeff Messer officiating.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to the time of services today at the funeral home.
