---- — KOKOMO — Alice B. Tyler, 49, Kokomo, formerly of Logansport, passed away at 6:24 a.m. Friday, Nov. 8, 2013, at St. Joseph Hospital, Kokomo.

Born Nov. 10, 1963, in Logansport, she was the daughter of the late Edward Scott and Rose Marie (Johnson) Helvie.

Alice formerly worked at the Corner Cupboard and the Holiday Inn of Logansport.

Alice was a member of the Deer Creek Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed word puzzles, watching Duane fish and just life in general.

Survivors include her longtime companion of 20 years, Duane Roller of Kokomo; three goddaughters, Christina Hunt, Amber Tancredi and Shannon Carpenter, all of Florida; and three sisters, Pat (Gary) Jones, Sherry Malott and Deb Good.

One sister, Barbara Dinkel, preceded her in death.

A celebration of life will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Ronald Green officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope cemetery.

Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
