GULF SHORES, Ala. — Brian C. Krysevig, 32, Gulf Shores, Ala., formerly of Logansport, passed away at 5 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 20, 2013, in Gulf Shores, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Born July 20, 1981, in Logansport, he was the son of Chris Krysevig and Karla (Reese) Ellis. Brian worked for the City Grill in Gulf Shores.

He was a 1999 graduate of Logansport High School. Brian loved to sail, fish, make wine and brew beer. Brian was a true people person.

Surviving are his mother and step father, Karla and Steve Ellis, Kewanna; father and stepmother, Chris and Vanessa Krysevig, Shelbyville; loving girlfriend, Juliana Doup, Gulf Shores, Ala.; maternal grandmother, Ann (Reese) Smith and Husband Richard, Sparta, Tenn.; paternal grandparents, Al and Pam Krysevig, Delphi; brother, Will Krysevig, Indianapolis; sister, Amber Cates and husband Jeremy, Logansport; stepbrother, Clay Allen, Indianapolis; stepsister, Kylie Wolfe and husband Ian, Greenfield; half-brother, Christopher Krysevig and wife Lauren, Indianapolis; niece, Anna Cates; and several aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Jerry Reese; paternal grandmother, Elizabeth Burton; and stepbrother, Clint Allen.

A celebration of life service will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Anthony Cozzello officiating.Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of services on Friday.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Beacon Federal Credit Union in care of The Brian Krysevig Memorial Fund which has been established for the family to help with funeral expenses and a scholarship fund for his niece.
