FORT WAYNE — Jerry H. Bishop, 77, Fort Wayne, passed away Monday, June 17, 2013, at his home.

Born in Grant County, Jerry owned Total Electric and retired from Harding Dahm.

He was a member of Mizpah Shrine and The Chapel.

Jerry was quick-witted and famous for his brisket.

Surviving are his daughter, Janet (Larry) Ashabranner, Corydon; brother, Jack (Ruth) Bishop, Brooksville, Fla.; best friend and companion, Marge Skinner, Bradenton, Fla.; step-grandchildren, Kevin and Steven, and four step-great-grandchildren.

Jerry was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Jo Anne Bishop, and brother, Joe Bishop.

Service is 10 a.m. Friday at The Chapel, 2505 W. Hamilton Road, Fort Wayne, with Rev. Rick Hawks officiating. Burial will be in Covington Memorial Gardens.

Calling hours will be one hour prior to the services Friday at the church and 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at D.O. McComb & Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Road.
