WARSAW — Linda L. Zellers, 73, Warsaw, passed away at 12:40 p.m. Tuesday, April 15, 2014, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw after a long-term battle with cancer.
On May 27, 1940, she was born in Logansport, to John H. and Helen K. (Lowe) Watts. She was united in marriage to Vaughn D. Zellers Sr. on Sept. 16, 1959, in Logansport. He survives.
She moved to the Warsaw area from Logansport in 1970. Linda enjoyed caring for children for many years. She also enjoyed gardening and going to garage sales and she was a fantastic cook. She was also a member of First Brethren Church, Warsaw.
Linda is survived by her husband, Vaughn D. Zellers Sr., Warsaw; two daughters, Debbie (and spouse Dale) Hileman, Akron, and Becky Zellers-Keefer, Warsaw; four sons, Tim (and spouse Donna) Zellers, Elkhart, Brian (and spouse Kim) Zellers, Warsaw, Vaughn Dean “Charlie” (and spouse Megan) Zellers Jr., Marietta, Ga., and Donny Zellers, Leesburg; five brothers, Paul Watts, Logansport, Bill Watts, Coleen, Texas, Johnny Watts, Barstow, Texas, Fred Watts, Monticello, and Terry Watts, Warsaw. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Linda was preceded in death by her daughter, June Ann Zellers, parents and her sister, Iva Jean Hellyer.
A funeral service will be 1 p.m. Saturday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with Pastor Howard Immel officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, at a later date.
Visitation hours will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday in the funeral chapel.
