Patricia A. Williams


---- — PERU — Patricia A. Williams, 81, Peru, passed away at 12:25 p.m. Tuesday, April 8, 2014, at her residence.

She was born in Cass County, on Jan. 30, 1933, the daughter of Rolla and Garnet Kistler Nethercutt. Pat married Dallas H. Williams in Logansport on March 4, 1952, and he survives.

Pat was a 1952 graduate of Royal Center High School and a member of Independent Christian Fellowship of Peru.

Pat was a line dancing instructor at the Kokomo Senior Center, the Logansport Community Center and the Peru YMCA for over 20 years. She further displayed her artistic talents in her various oil paintings.

Pat was a “stay-at-home mom” before the term was invented. She loved and was gifted in that profession. She had an infectious love for life, family and friends and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother.

Surviving in addition to her husband, Dallas, are her children Wilma Zeider of Kokomo, Nancy Sailors and her husband, Tim, of Grass Creek, Roy Williams and his wife, Marilyn, of Orlando, Fla., Lila Gordon and her husband, Jimmy, of Walton, Rhonda Williams and her husband, Ernie Cahala, of Parma, Idaho and Janet Frankum and her husband, Jim, of Peru; 20 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; six brothers and four sisters.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Peggy Williams and three brothers.

A service celebrating the life of Patricia A. Williams will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Independent Christian Fellowship, 120 W. 10th St., Peru, with Pastor Brent Cohick and Pat’s nephew, Pastor Richie Carmichael officiating. Burial will be in Ever Rest Memorial Park, Cass County.

Family and friends will gather from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at Eikenberry Eddy Funeral Home, 84 W. Main St. Peru.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made through the funeral home to Independent Christian Fellowship.
