William Michael Ellis, 28, Logansport, passed away peacefully surrounded by his mother and family in his home at 12:17 a.m. Sunday, April 6, 2014. William had fought a long, courageous battle with kidney disease most of his life. He was born Aug. 14, 1985, in Grass Valley, Calif.
William lived life to the fullest in spite of the many challenges he faced. His smile was contagious. He enjoyed riding quads and dirt bikes. He loved the country life and camping. William especially enjoyed spending time with his daughter, niece and nephews.
Surviving are his mother, Wendy Sue Curtis, Twelve Mile; father, Jerald Thomas Ellis, New Mexico; daughter, Zoe Hopkins, California; brother, Curtis (Lisa) Ellis, Boswell; sister, Amber Ellis (fiance Coye Callis), Marion; two nephews and one niece, Dominic Scott, Sierra Tharp and Christian Ellis; maternal grandmother, Ellen Mae Curtis, Logansport; and three uncles, Michael, Dale and Roger Curtis.
He was preceded in death by daughter, Natalie Marie; and maternal grandfather Fred Curtis.
