Rita M. Galloway, 90, Logansport, passed away on Monday, Oct. 28, 2013, at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne.

Born on Nov. 11, 1922, in Logansport, she was the daughter of the late Harmol and Pearl (Cobble) Penwall. She was married to Louis A. Dailey who preceded her in death. On Sept. 26, 1976, in Logansport, she married Earl E. Fitz who preceded her in death on Nov. 14, 1994. On Sept. 15, 1995 in Logansport, she married Everett Ray Galloway who survives.

Rita was a retired secretary from the Traylor Chemical & Supply Co. She enjoyed volunteering for the Cass County Red Cross and was a member of Cross Wind United Methodist Church and the Sarah Hay Church Circle.

Surviving along with her husband Everett is daughter, Marilyn M. (Sidney A.) McQueary, Kokomo; son, Louis H. Dailey, LaQuinta, Calif.; two granddaughters, Elizabeth Fiest, Calif.; Deborah Montalvo, Calif.; three grandsons, Michael Dailey, S.C.; Bryan Dailey, Calif.; William (Bill) Dailey, Calif.; 11 great-grandchildren, Melissa Dailey, Matthew Dailey, Shawn Dailey, Danielle Dailey, Amber Dailey, Jon Dailey, Liam Dailey, Brooklyn Dailey, Sarah Montalvo, Zoey Fiest, Zachary Fiest; and one great-great-granddaughter, Quinn Dailey.

She was preceded in death by three brothers; one sister; one son, Danny Dailey; and one granddaughter, Kimberly Jo Graham.

A funeral service will be at noon Saturday at the Gundrum Funeral Home and Crematory with Dr. George Plasterer officiating. Burial will follow at Ever-Rest Memorial Park.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
