---- — ST. CLOUD, Fla. — Loren James “Jim” Grauel, 77, St Cloud, Fla., passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2014.

Born May 18, 1936, in Cass County, Jim was the son to the late Fred H. and Lela R. (Watts) Grauel.

He retired from the U.S. Army as Chief Warrant Officer 4, then retired from Xerox after 14 years. He joined the Florida Flywheelers Antique Tracker Club about 2002.

He is survived by wife, Carolyn L. (Barnes) Grauel; two sisters, Rosalie Weisenburger, Logansport, and Nettie (Rick) Brosge, New Waverly; brother, William (Linda) Grauel, Big Sandy, Tenn.; two god-sons, Coung “Steve” (Mary) Tran and Albert Tran; daughter-in-law, Dinh Tran; grandchildren, Philip (Emily) Tran, Jennifer Tran (Vincent) Lau, and Peggy Tran; son, John (Dawn) Hiatt; daughter, Cristie Hiatt (Keith) Finnerty; and grandchildren: Adam and Ian Finnerty, Justine, Mathew and Joshua Hiatt.

Services will be private with the family.
