Roger E. Seward


— Roger E. Seward, 84, Logansport, passed away at noon Thursday, April 4, 2013, in Chase Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born Nov. 27, 1928, in Pulaski County, he was the son of John Henry and Esther Pherson Seward.

He was married to Rosemary Klein, who preceded him in death in 1977.

Roger had been a tool and die maker at Alpha Industries, and was a veteran of the United States Army. He enjoyed dining out at China Lane and Bullshipper’s Café.

Surviving are a brother, Charles Seward, Indianapolis; sister, Edythe M. Carlson, Logansport; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were brothers, John Wesley Seward and Carl K. ‘Kenny’ Seward; and sister, Clara Mae Seward.

The service were Saturday at Kroeger Funeral Home Saturday.

Burial, with full military honors was in Mount Hope Cemetery.
