Robert W. Caudle, 56, Logansport, passed away Friday, Feb. 7, 2014, in his parents’ home at Lake Cicott.
Born Dec. 5, 1957, in Lafayette, he was the son of Bobby Harold and Eloise Ann (Spencer) Caudle, who survive.
Robert graduated from Pioneer High School in 1975. He was also a graduate of Kentucky Christian College. He was an ordained minister. Robert was employed as a tooling apprentice at Small Parts.
Robert was a member of Pisgah Christian Church, where he joyfully served his Lord as a deacon, an elder and a Sunday School teacher. Robert spent seven and a half years in Scotland as a missionary. He was also a member of the Kentucky Christian College recruiting team.
While at KCC, he played soccer. He was a sports enthusiast, especially when it came to American football and English soccer. He loved attending all of his nieces’ and nephews’ school activities. Robert also enjoyed gardening, especially growing flowers.
Surviving with his parents are his maternal grandmother, Mildred Geneva “Jenny” Bloyer of Logansport; one sister, Penny K. Lawson and her husband Fayne of Logansport; two brothers, Richard W. Caudle and Randy W. Caudle and his wife Michelle, all of Logansport; nieces, Cady Caudle, Bailey (Nathan) Kistler, Cori Caudle and Lalit “Bill” Ketsuriyong; nephews, Michael Bushaw, Bryce (Karen) Caudle, Jordyn Caudle, Fayne Lawson and Gage Croninger; one grand-niece, Brylie Caudle; and several aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Jeffrey; one sister-in-law, Beckie Caudle; and his paternal grandparents, Wilburn and Hazel Caudle.
A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Fisher Funeral Chapel with Pastor Ryan Lewellen officiating. Interment, at a later date, will follow in the Pisgah Cemetery.
Friends and family may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Fisher Funeral Chapel, Logansport.
