---- — Frances J. Cart, 76, Logansport, passed away Friday, Feb. 7, 2014, in Logansport Memorial Hospital.
Born Aug. 6, 1937, in Cass County, Frances was the daughter to the late Fred H. and Lela R. (Watts) Grauel.
On Oct. 26, 1974, she married Robert L. Cart, who preceded her in death Dec. 18, 2008.
Frances worked at Mercury Marine of St. Cloud, Fla., after working 21 years at Switches Inc. in Logansport. She is the past president and past district president of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 60, member of the VFW Unit 3790 and Shiloh Christian Church.
Surviving are two sons, Thomas J. (Nancy) Moss of Logansport and Timothy W. (Misty) Moss of Logansport; daughter, Deborah K. (Jeffrey) Schelling of Shaker Heights, Ohio; stepson, Christopher W. Cart of St. Cloud, Fla.; stepdaughter, Tracey Wagner of Logansport; two sisters, Rosalie Weisenburger of Logansport and Nettie (Rick) Brosge of New Waverly; two brothers, L. James Grauel of St. Cloud, Fla. and William Grauel of Big Sandy, Tenn.; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death was one daughter, Donna Jackson; stepson, Robert Cart Jr.; stepdaughter, Debra Graves; four brothers, Charles, Don, Freddie and John Grauel; and two sisters, Mary Jane Grauel and Lucille Coffing.
A celebration of life will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Marshall officiating. Burial will be in Walton I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with a Ladies Auxiliary Service at 6:30 p.m.
Services have been entrusted to Gundrum Funeral Home and Crematory.
