McLowell 'Mack' Johnson

---- — KOKOMO — McLowell “Mack” Johnson, 70, Kokomo, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2013, at IU Health University Hospital in Indianapolis.

He was born July 3, 1943, in Warsaw, to Johnnie and Rosie (Thompson) Crawford. On June 30, 1981, he married Delores Odom Pasquale Johnson, and she survives.

He retired from GM Delco and later worked for IMMI in Westfield. He enjoyed flying RC airplanes, golfing, bowling, skeet shooting, and drag racing. He also played lead guitar in the popular weekend bands, K-Town Express and The Midnight Flyers.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Dwayne (Debbie) Johnson, William (Ana) Pasquale, Misty Johnson, Angela (Chad) Smith, and Madonna Johnson; grandchildren, Jordan Johnson, Morgan Johnson, Tawny (Scott) Wiedenhoeft, Billy Pasquale, Ethan Pasquale, Patrick Smith, Destinee Smith, and Spencer Smith; great-granddaughter, Liliana Wiedenhoeft; and sister, Fayma Nye of Virginia.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Wendell Johnson; and granddaughter, Christina Marie Gabbard.

The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
