TERRE HAUTE — Virginia “Ginny” Gillam, 62, Terre Haute, formerly of Logansport, went to be with the Lord Thursday, Dec. 19, 2013, at Normal Living Life Home, Terre Haute.

She was born Dec. 24, 1950, in Kokomo to Robert J. and Elizabeth E. (Burns ) Gillam.

Ginny enjoyed participating in Special Olympics; her sport was bowling. She also enjoyed puzzles and writing. She had a special connection with children and animals.

Surviving are a brother, Charles E. and wife Carol Gillam, Kokomo; and a sister, Patricia Titus, Logansport; and nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Richard, Robert and Donald Gillam; and a sister, Sharon Gillam.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Murray Weaver Funeral Home, Galveston, with the Rev. Gary Britton officiating. Burial will follow at Galveston Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until service time Saturday.

Murray Weaver Funeral Home in Galveston assisted the family with arrangements.
