---- — PERU — Bonnie J. Selleck, 78, Peru, passed away at 5:05 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2013 in Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne.

Born March 14, 1935 in Wabash, Bonnie was the daughter of the late George Franklin and Mary Elizabeth (Brown) Sparks.

On Oct. 8, 1953, in Peru, she married Hugh Selleck, who survives.

Bonnie was a homemaker. She enjoyed playing cards, reading, dancing, singing and visiting the Casino’s.

Surviving along with her husband are four sons, Larry (Shirley) Selleck, Galveston, Hugh (Sheryl) Selleck Jr., Logansport, Carl (Cynthia) Selleck, Peru, and John (Tammy) Selleck, Mt. Sterling, Ky.; mother-in-law, Lucy Burton, Logansport; brother Zeb Sparks, Wabash; sister Glenna Hampton, Manchester; 17 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Two great-grandchildren, Jada Rose Smith and Ashley Brooks Perri; four brothers, Loren, Jim, John and Orion Sparks; and two sisters, Eloris Hampton and Verna Miller, preceded her in death.

A funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor John Newman officiating. Burial will follow at Ever-Rest Memorial Park, Logansport.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday at Gundrum Funeral Home.
