KOKOMO — Tony William Bolinger, 56, Kokomo, passed away at 11:10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 15, 2013, at St. Joseph Hospital, Kokomo.

He was born March 18, 1957, in Logans-port, to Abraham and Mary B. (Viney) Bolinger. He married Rebecca Bolinger on March 5, 1983, in Logansport, and she survives.

Tony retired from the Chrysler Casting Plant in 2007. He had received his associates as an electrician from Ivy Tech. He had served in the United States Marine Corps, and was a member of First United Methodist Church in Greentown, a former member of the American Legion in Logansport and the 40 & 8 club.

He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson and fishing.

Surviving him are his wife, Rebecca Bolinger, Kokomo; sons Joshua (Amber) Bolinger, Galveston, and Andrew (Josie) Bolinger, Kokomo; daughter Tracie Bolinger, Kokomo; grandchildren Aurora and Maya Bolinger; brother Tim Bolinger, Logansport; two sisters, Terri (Rick) Overpeck, Logansport and Toby (Jerry) Mitchell, Kokomo; special children who called him dad; and several nieces and nephews.

Tony was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Hasler & Stout Funeral Home, 112 E. Main St., Greentown, with Pastor Michael Goodspeed officiating.

Calling hours are 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial contributions be made to “Angels for Kids” charity.
