CAMDEN — David Lee Miller, 81, lifetime resident of the Camden area, died 12:30 a.m. Sunday, October 28, 2012, at the home of his daughter in Pyrmont. He had been in ill health for 2 ½ years.
He was born Nov. 18, 1930, in Carroll County to Henry A. and Opal I. Skiles Miller. He attended Camden High School. He married Norma Angle on March 19, 1950, in Flora and she died on May, 10, 1994. He then married Opal Berryman Loudon on Aug. 24, 1997 at his residence and she died Sept. 16, 2009. He retired as owner and operator from Henry Miller & Son, Camden. He was a member of the Deer Creek Old German Baptist Brethren Church, near Camden.
Surviving are five daughters: Yolonda Miller, Rocky Mount, Va.; Iris Weber (husband, Robert) North Manchester; Renee Wallace (husband, Lee) Pyrmont; Rita Miller (husband, Ervin) Abbotsford, Wisc.; Lou Anna Hufford (husband, Stephen) Flora; two brothers: Wayne Miller (wife, Phyllis) Piqua, Ohio; Glen Miller (wife, Linda) Pyrmont. Also surviving are 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Preceding in death was a son Rodney in 1965; a sister, Mary Louise Brubaker, and a great-grandson, Clay Penrod.
Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Deer Creek Old German Baptist Brethren Church, with funeral services there Wednesday at 10 a.m. with home brethren officiating. Burial will be at the Mussellman Cemetery, near Camden. www.bakerabbottfh.com.
