---- — SEBRING, Fla. — Thelma L. (Boehme) Hinson, Sebring, Fla., formerly of Logansport, passed away on her 78th birthday Monday, Feb. 24, 2014, with her son by her side.
Thelma was born Feb. 24, 1936, in Winamac. She was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Lottie (Marvin) Clark.
On Dec. 5, 1954, she was married to the late Carl E. Boehme, who preceded her in death Feb. 9, 1985. On June 15, 1997, in Sebring, Florida, she was married to Ron Hinson, who survives.
Thelma worked at (Switches, Inc.) Federal-Mogul in Logansport for 25 years. She relocated to Florida in 1987. She worked at Publix Super Market in Sebring (south), Fla., for 15 years. She was a 1954 graduate of Star City High School.
She enjoyed shopping, playing bingo, traveling and collecting dolls, antiques and collectibles, but most of all she loved being with her family and friends.
Also surviving are one son, Tim Boehme of Sebring, Fla.; one daughter, Cindy Dearinger and her husband, Tim, of Logansport; three grandchildren, Matthew Boehme of San Jose, Calif., Kyle Dearinger of Logansport and Carla Schlosser and her husband, Joe, of South Bend; and one sister, Aletha Solomon of Sebring, Fla.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Dorothy Hartman, Juanita Clark and Violet (Lamb) Bowen; and one brother, Arnold “Mike” Clark.
Thelma’s life will be celebrated at a memorial service at Fisher Funeral Chapel in Logansport at a later date.
