Ruth C. Pugh, 95, formerly Logansport, passed away at 2:20 a.m. Tuesday, May 21, 2013, in the Indiana Veterans Home, West Lafayette.
Born Jan. 7, 1918, in Detroit, Mich., she was the daughter of Hugo and Veronica Gross Lienemann.
On Oct. 1, 1938, in Logansport, she was married to Gerald L. Pugh, who preceded her in death Oct. 8, 2007.
A homemaker, Ruth had been a member of the VFW Post 3790 Ladies Auxiliary, and American Legion Post 60 Ladies Auxiliary.
Ruth is survived by sons, Kenneth A. (Laurie) Pugh, West Lafayette, Julian R. (Linda) Pugh, Walton, and James F. (Susan) Pugh, Sellersburg; daughter, Katherine Buskirk, Springfield, Ill.; sisters, Mary Harvey, Hanover, Pa., and Shirley Bielawski, Bowie, Md.; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Two grandsons, a son, a brother and a sister preceded her in death.
Family and friends will gather from 1 to 1:45 p.m. Friday at Kroeger Funeral Home.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Mount Hope Cemetery
