WHITESTOWN — Services for David Wilbur Yeater, 60, Indianapolis, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in Traders Point Christian Church, 6590 S. Indianapolis Road in Whitestown.
He died Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2008, in St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis, surrounded by loving family and friends.
Born Feb. 28, 1948, in Logansport, he was the son of the late Wilbur and Vera Largen Yeater. He was married Nov. 3, 1973, to Julie Williams, his wife of nearly 35 years.
David was a 1966 graduate of Logansport High School and a 1970 graduate of Manchester College. He worked for more than 20 years in accounting for the state of Indiana.
He was an active member of Traders Point Christian Church, volunteering in guest service ministry and any other area where he was needed.
David is survived by his wife, Julie Yeater; sisters, Marjorie Way (Carl), Rena Lou Woolever, Martha Cory (Norman), and Charlotte Bowen (Gary); and nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by an infant brother, Charles.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday and one hour before services Monday at the church.
