AKRON — Services for Francis L. “Whitey” Thompson, 86, Akron, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Hartzler Funeral Home, Akron.

He died at 8:30 p.m. Friday, July 4, 2008, in Life Care Center, Rochester.

Burial will be in Akron Cemetery, Akron.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
