Elizabeth I. Eller

FLORA — Services for Elizabeth I. Eller, 80, Flora, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Living Faith Church of the Brethren.

She passed away at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, May 10, 2008, at St. Elizabeth Healthcare Center in Delphi.

Born Jan. 31, 1928, in Flora, she was the daughter of Basil and Faye Cline Ayres. On May 2, 1947, she was married to Dale L. Eller at the Church of the Brethren in Flora. He preceded her on May 21, 2003.

She was a 1946 graduate of Flora High School. She had been employed at Stephan’s IGA for 16 years, Graham’s Corner and Eller Service Station, all in Flora.

She was a member of the Living Faith Church of the Brethren, and she was one of the local founders of the Delta Theta Chi Sorority, a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, and had been assistant mother adviser to the Rainbow Girls.

She is survived by four daughters, Shirley Chodorowski and husband, Tom, Florida, Rita Hudelson and husband, Jerry, Lafayette, Janet Kingen and husband, Mark, Ohio, and Susan Denny and husband, Greg, Flora; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded by two brothers.

Pastor Jeff Tomson will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Lawn Cemetery in Flora.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Reinke Funeral Home and one hour before services Wednesday at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to either Southern Care Hospice or the Living Faith Church of the Brethren.
