Pauline Lynch

Private services for Pauline Lynch, 90, Goshen, formerly of Logansport, will be held at a later date.

She died at 4:12 p.m. Wednesday, May 7, 2008, at The Maples at Waterford Crossing, Goshen.

Born Dec. 12, 1917, in Logansport, she was the daughter of Ernest and Mary Fosler Shanks. She was married Oct. 5, 1957, in Logansport, to William Richard “Dick” Lynch, who preceded her in death on July 29, 1991.

A 1938 graduate of Logansport High School, Mrs. Lynch had been employed at RBM Manufacturing in Logansport. She had been a member of St. Mark’s United Methodist Church in Goshen.

Surviving are sister-in-law, Dorothy Allen, Indianapolis; one niece, Virginia Lynch, New York; three nephews, Phillip Durbin, Florida, Gerald Durbin, Alabama, and J. Richard Allen, Virginia; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Ernestine Shanks and Dolores Shanks; and one brother, Carl Shanks.
