Lady Panthers avenge earlier loss to Comets

ROYAL CENTER — Mati DeWitt scored 12 of her game-high 16 points in the second half to lead Pioneer's girls basketball team to a 33-25 win over Caston Friday night.

Sarah Marie Dorris added four points and seven assists for the Panthers (4-5, 2-1 Midwest Conference), who avenged a 13-point loss to the Comets in Cass County Tournament play.

Ingrid Martinez had 10 points to lead the Comets (6-6, 0-2), and Marli Leazenby added eight.
