Berries split with Bearcats, Red Devils in NCC matches

“We made a lot of mistakes really early,” Logan coach Todd Reiff said. “We gave up a corner kick really early and let them score shortly after that actually on a deflection off of us. So we made some pretty critical mistakes early, but we did some things right and the girls played hard.

“We should have had four goals and had one taken away. We’re learning some things and our ultimate goal is winning conference and winning sectional.”

The Berries (2-1) host Class A No. 2 West Lafayette Monday.
