I hope you get a chance to go fishing or have a cookout this weekend with your dad. I think as long as you let them know that they are important to you the day will be complete. It is always fun to just spend some time with these men and enjoy the day. If you can’t spend time with them, then think about the things that they have done for you and be happy.
I often think about the advice I have been given while fishing the calm waters of a local pond or watching my bobber drift through the current on the Wabash River. So no matter how you think of the dads in your life this weekend, the important thing is that you do think of them. I don’t mind a gift or two but that is just me. You can follow your own instincts on those matters. I would like to say thank you to all the men who have helped me wade through the waters of life so far. It has been an honor and pleasure to share time with you all. Thank you and have a happy Father’s Day!
