Vernon resigns from Logan volley post

Jon Vernon has resigned as the head coach of the Logansport volleyball team.

“We had two great years of 26-7 and 19-14, two Cass County Tourney championships and a sectional runner-up in 2012,” Vernon said. “I want to thank those players that worked hard in practices and matches. I will continue to run the Logansport Volleyball Club and continue to work to make our local youth better at the game of volleyball.”

Logansport athletic director Greg Fisher said: “Jon has worked very hard at the position and has dedicated himself a lot of hours and time, effort and energy and we really appreciate Jon’s time and effort he has put into the volleyball program.”
