The No. 8-ranked Berries had a shining performance, scoring a school-record 110.9 to win the event.
The 110.9 shattered the team record of 109.375 and is the third highest score in the state this year. Only Valparaiso’s 112.425 and Fort Wayne Dwenger’s 110.95 have been higher.
Logansport sophomores Kelley Platt and Emily Pomasl finished 1-2 in the all-around. Platt won with a 38.2 and Pomasl was second with a 37.7. Alexa Abbott was sixth with a 33.9.
Platt won vault (9.6), bars (9.75) and floor (9.7) and was second on beam (9.2). Pomasl won beam (9.4) and was second on vault (9.5), bars (9.2) and floor (9.6).
Hannah Brandt was third on vault (9.3). On beam, Ashlyn Brown placed third (8.95), Abbott was fifth (8.6) and Maddy Rosenberger was sixth (8.3). Abbott was sixth on bars (8.2).
Logan was followed by DeKalb (101.65), Plymouth (100.6), East Noble (94.55), Southmont (82.9) and Peru (31.2).
After Saturday’s performances, Platt is ranked first and Pomasl is fourth in the state in the all-around.
Logan hosts the North Central Conference meet next Saturday.
