It happened after the Berry netters downed Anderson 4-3. Joe Scagnoli, Terry Hershberger, Ed Nichols and Jack Reeder all played key roles for the Berries in singles and doubles.

For the first time, Mothers Day has been observed locally at the Presbyterian Church.
