---- — Cars, clowns, horses and floats made their way down Broadway Saturday afternoon for the seventh annual Logansport Shrine Parade to celebrate the club’s contributions to children’s health care. Shrine member Dave Arnold, the parade’s master of ceremonies, said Logansport’s group is the oldest Shrine club in the state and that 72 participants were involved in the parade. Shrine clubs from all over the state joined the local members.
“It’s a service group that does outstanding work,” he said.
The club funds the transportation costs of about 40 local children to Chicago and Cincinnati Shrine Children’s Hospitals.
