Police blotter: May 30, 2014



10:23 p.m. — Arrest. Alverto Gerardo Ferniza, 24, Logansport, was arrested on a charge of invasion of privacy. Logansport Police Department.


6:32 a.m. — Arrest. Sebastian Mateo Hernandez, 35, Logansport, was arrested on a charge of driving while suspended-prior. Cass County Sheriff's Department.

9:19 a.m. — Arrest. Dakota Dale Daniels, 23, Peru, was arrested on a charge of failure to appear. CCSD.

11:11 a.m. — Arrest. Scott Ryan Pickens, 41, Sikeston, Mo., was arrested on a warrant for probation violation. CCSD.

11:17 a.m. — Crash. Sixth and East Market streets. A vehicle driven by Cearra M. Logan, 18, Logansport, collided with a vehicle driven by Kay K. Parsley, 78, Royal Center. LPD.

11:26 a.m. — Arrest. Tina Sue Weatherwax, 43, Logansport, was arrested on a charge of driving while suspended-prior. LPD.

3:28 p.m. — Theft. 1300 block of Liberty Street. Complainant reported the theft of a bicycle. LPD.

5:34 p.m. — Theft. 100 block of West Linden Avenue. Complainant reported the theft of firearms. LPD.

9:20 p.m. — Theft. 800 block of North Third Street. Three juveniles were detained for shoplifting and then released to their parents. LPD.



8:07 a.m. — First responder call. 2626 George St. Logansport Fire Department.

9:39 a.m. — First responder call. 211 W. Ottawa St. LFD.

4:24 p.m. — First responder call. 1421 Aster St. LFD.

6:36 p.m. — Personal injury crash. Third and Gates streets. LFD.
