Free movies for theater opening

Mary Max Cinemas plan three-day grand opening starting Tuesday.

---- — Mary Max Cinemas will be hosting a three-day celebration as part of its opening.

From Tuesday to Thursday, the movie theater will offer free admission movies that appeal to all age groups. Weather permitting, a Batmobile will be on site from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday.

Free popcorn and soda will be available. Though the festivities are free, they will be accepting donations at the concession stand to benefit a different Cass County nonprofit organizaton each day.

The movies to be playing are "Iron Man 3" (PG-13), "Monsters University" (G), "Star Trek: Into Darkness" (PG-13), "World War Z" (PG-13), "Rise of the Guardians" (PG), "Hotel Transylvania" (PG), and "Skyfall" (PG-13).

Each movie will show daily and a full showtime schedule will be posted on the theater's website, www.marymaxcinemas.com, and on the Mary Max Cinemas Logansport 5 Facebook page. Titles and showtimes are subject to change. You should double-check, on the day you plan to attend, those websites for any changes.

All movies are on a first-come basis and no reservations are being taken.
